A former biologist with a dual interest in the arts, Stacy transforms nature’s intensity inti striking forms of jewelry. Using artisanal techniques from her training in Florence, Italy, she artfully encapsulates the fine organic detail and vitality of natural forms within her jewelry. Stacy frequently collaborates with natural history museums, raptor centers such as VINS and university collections to obtain unusual specimens for her work. Many of her collections raise awareness and funds for environmental conservation efforts.

After having lived in Florence, Italy for over 10 years, in 2012 Stacy returned to Vt. And opened Scavenger Gallery in W.R.J. She frequently returns to Italy for inspiration and to work with a reputed foundry in Arezzo. Each Item is cast in Italy and handcrafted, finished and oxidized in Vermont.
